The goal of the project: to provide household assistance to low-income lonely victims of Nazism that living in Minsk, who have partially or completely lost the ability to self-service, to improve their quality of life.
Target group: lonely victims of Nazism living in Minsk, experiencing difficulties in movement, self-service.

The project was approved by the special representative of the Federal Ministry of Finance of the Federal Republic of Germany for negotiations with the Government of the Republic of Belarus on the balance of funds in 1993.
Organizers: International Public Association “Mutual Understanding”; Belarusian Republican Foundation “Mutual Understanding and Reconciliation”.
Partners: Territorial centers of social services for the population of Minsk districts.
- complex cleaning of apartments, including dry cleaning of carpets, upholstered furniture;
- repair of radio and household (electrical) devices, sanitary and hygienic equipment, and in case of impossibility or inexpediency (uneconomic) repair, their purchase.
The identification of alone victims of Nazism that need household assistance is carried out by the association’s employees in cooperation with social protection bodies and public associations, based on the following criteria:
living alone in Minsk or Minsk region;
limitation of movement, self-service low level of pensioner’s income according to objective indicators.
