Minsk hosted an inspiring two-day meeting with grantees and partners of the programme ‘MEETING PLACE: DIALOGUE’, which is implemented in Belarus with the support of the German Federal Foundation ‘Remembrance, Responsibility and Future’. The participants exchanged impressive achievements and developed ambitious plans in the field of humanitarian activities for 2025. The International Public Association ‘Mutual Understanding’ not only heard reports on the current projects of the programme, but also actively discussed new ideas and initiatives for further cooperation.
We conducted an in-depth analysis of the situation in the regions, communicating with representatives of the programme’s target group – members of branches of the public association ‘Belarusian Association of Former Juvenile Prisoners of Fascism’, as well as with participants of other organisations of former prisoners. Our event was attended by more than 70 people, including guests of honour, including the Chargé d’affaires a.i. of the Federal Republic of Germany in the Republic of Belarus, Ms Andrea Viktorin, as well as representatives of the Department for Humanitarian Activities of the Office of the President of the Republic of Belarus.
