Taking care of one’s health is important at any age, but this topic is especially relevant for those who are over 70 years old, and these are our dear and dear participants of the project ‘Let’s Say No to Loneliness’. The conversation with an endocrinologist was especially relevant and fascinating. The participants learnt about the work of the endocrine system and ways of maintaining health in old age, listened to the lecture with interest, asked questions and actively discussed topics related to their health and lifestyle.
The grandmothers, putting aside their brushes, fully immersed themselves in the discussion. This shows that such events are not only informative, but also create an opportunity for socialising and sharing experiences, which is especially important for the elderly.
Mutual Understanding continues its work on organising such meetings aimed at improving the quality of life of the elderly and creating a comfortable social environment. We are confident that such events contribute not only to raising health awareness, but also to strengthening the spirit of our community.
